Our Story

In January 2024, Mus, the founder of Ambersun, found himself at a crossroads. Tired of the daily grind of a job that no longer fulfilled him, and with his wife expecting their first child, he knew it was time to make a change. Mus wanted a life that would allow him to spend more time with his growing family—and most importantly, he wanted to do something he truly loved. But the big question was: what?

After several attempts at different business ventures—everything from vending machines to construction companies—Mus had learned some tough lessons. The pursuit of profit alone wasn’t enough to find happiness. To be truly fulfilled, he realized, he needed to build a business that ignited his passion, sparked his creativity, and inspired him every single day. He needed to do something that meant more than just money. He needed to follow his heart.

The Spark

That’s when Mus’s long-standing love for perfume came into focus. Having always been drawn to the art of fragrances, he marveled at how a scent could evoke powerful memories, moods, and emotions. Mus had always been captivated by the world of buying and selling, and he knew that perfume would be the perfect outlet for both his passion and entrepreneurial spirit. He was determined to create his own line of perfumes—a brand that reflected his personal connection to the craft and his deep appreciation for quality scents.

But, as with any new venture, the road wasn’t smooth. His first batch of homemade perfumes, full of excitement and anticipation, ended in disappointment. A “dodgy batch,” as he calls it, left him questioning whether the dream was even worth pursuing. For a moment, he considered giving up.

The Comeback

But Mus wasn’t ready to quit. He believed in the power of his dream, and sometimes, the most difficult moments are the ones that drive us forward. Just a week later, after taking time to regroup and refocus, he decided to push ahead. He reached out to some of the best suppliers of perfume brands—Afnan, Zimaya, French Avenue, Lattafa, Swiss Arabian, and many more—and began selling their high-quality fragrances.

What started as a journey filled with uncertainty and setbacks quickly transformed into the foundation of Ambersun. Mus began to build a business that not only offered premium perfumes but also embodied his deep connection to the craft. Ambersun wasn’t just about fragrances—it was about creating something meaningful, something that resonated with people in a way that lasted.

The Market Challenge

But there was still a big hurdle: Where was Mus going to sell these products? After selling perfume to nearly everyone in his contact list, he realized he needed a bigger audience. That’s when he decided to take his business to the markets. In April, he took his first steps into the world of market trading. His first experience was far from glamorous—he only sold 7 bottles of perfume, and he didn’t even cover the cost of his pitch rent and fuel. He felt defeated. Was this really the right path?

But He refused to let failure define him. He went back to the drawing board, analyzing what went wrong. He realized that success at the market wasn’t just about having great products—it was about confidence. He needed to be proactive, not just sit behind his stall. He needed to step forward, engage with customers, and start conversations.

The following Saturday, Mus tried again, but this time, he made a point to be in front of his stall, greeting people, talking to them, and sharing his story. The result was incredible. He sold over 100 bottles of perfume and gained 150 new Instagram followers that day. which may not seem a lot but from the previous Saturday this motivated him massively. It was a breakthrough. From then on, it was nothing but growth.

The Next Step: Going Digital

Right, so what was next for us? The markets were going well, but Mus was determined to turn this into a proper, sustainable business. After all, he was still working a full time job in the construction industry ,The idea of scaling seemed impossible without the right tools. But then came a game-changer.

We were introduced to TikTok Live.

This was the moment everything started to click. He decided to take a chance and start streaming live from the front room of his house, with his perfumes displayed on the coffee table. The response was amazing—almost immediate. In our very first week of live streaming, we sold over 75 bottles of perfume. It was clear that this was a new and exciting way to connect with customers, expand our reach, and build the Ambersun brand.

As we kept streaming, it quickly became evident just how much potential this new venture had. Orders were coming in fast and furious, and the little stockroom (which, by the way, was in my mother’s shed) quickly became way too small. We knew we needed a more professional setup if we were going to keep up with demand and continue growing.

A New Beginning

That’s when we decided it was time to take the next step. We needed a proper workspace.

So, we moved into a new studio, located in Cheshunt—a space that was perfectly sized for our growth. With this new work environment, we were able to not only streamline our operations but also expand our live streams. Ambersun is now streaming live on TikTok Shop daily, offering an interactive shopping experience that brings our products straight to the people who love them.

Today and Beyond

Now, Ambersun has grown from humble beginnings to a flourishing business, with a dedicated customer base that spans far beyond the markets. Each day, we’re motivated by the incredible feedback we receive, whether it’s through TikTok, at the market, or on our website. We’re excited to continue pushing the boundaries, offering new products, and evolving with the needs of our community.

Ambersun isn’t just about selling perfumes; it’s about creating lasting connections, sharing our passion, and building something meaningful. And we’re just getting started.

Thank you for being part of our story. The journey has been nothing short of amazing, and we can’t wait to see where it takes us next.
